Service operator.

Fabi is a directory of event vendors in El Salvador. The platform is operated personally by the founding team while a legal entity in El Salvador is being formed. For privacy questions reach us at hola@fabi.events.

Only what's needed to run the service.

When you create an account or use Fabi, we collect:

• Account data: email, first and last name, optional phone, preferred language and country.
• Vendor data (if you sign up as a provider): business name, tax ID (NIT), address, description, photos, packages, team, awards, certifications, public contacts.
• Messages: the content of messages you send to vendors and their replies.
• Reviews: your rating, text, and the name shown publicly (with the option to display only your first initial).
• Traffic: contact clicks (WhatsApp / phone / email), profile views, search queries. Stored in aggregate and used to detect abuse.
• Content reports: when you flag abusive content we store the reason and any notes you leave for a moderator.

To keep the platform running and useful.

We use the data to authenticate your account, render your public profile (if you're a vendor), deliver messages between clients and vendors, send transactional emails, compute aggregate usage metrics, and detect abuse.

We don't sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties for marketing.

Functional and few.

We use cookies / local storage to keep your session signed in (Supabase Auth), remember your preferred language and country, and store your consent on our cookie banner. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Processors that help us run.

We share data only with services we need to operate:

• Supabase (database and auth) — stores your account, profile, messages, and reviews. Data hosted in the US / Europe.
• Resend (transactional email) — delivers the emails you receive when there's activity on your conversations.
• Vercel (application hosting) — serves the pages you see.
• Anthropic (optional ES↔EN translation, only if you trigger it) — receives the text you ask to translate, without linking it to your account.

Access, correction, deletion.

You can view and edit most of your data directly from your account (profile, settings, messages, favorites, reviews).

To delete your account and associated data, email us — we're rolling out one-click deletion from settings soon.

If you spot incorrect data about yourself published on Fabi (for example, info about your business), we respond to correction requests quickly.

We keep only what's still useful.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Messages and reviews may persist after account closure to preserve historical integrity for the vendor (e.g., a review linked to a vendor remains visible even if you close your account), unless you request explicit deletion.

Content reports and moderation logs are kept for audit purposes.

Reasonable safeguards.

We use HTTPS on every page, passwordless auth (magic link), Row-Level-Security in the database, and limit internal access to what's strictly needed. No system is 100% secure but we do what we can to protect what you trust to Fabi.

Fabi is for adults.

The service is intended for people 18 and older. If we discover we've collected data from a minor, we delete it.

We'll let you know.

If we update this policy we change the date above and, if the changes are material, we let you know by email or via a visible notice in the platform.
